All are invited to attend Sudbury’s annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road in Sudbury, at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20th.

The service is sponsored by the Sudbury Clergy Association and welcomes clergy and laity from all houses of worship in Sudbury and also those from the Islamic Center of Boston and the Hindu Sri Lakshmi Temple of Ashland.

This year’s theme is “Thanksgiving for Our Multi-Faith Community.” The service will include a ceremonial gathering of Sudbury’s congregations introduced by their founding date. Sudbury’s United Methodist hosts will offer a welcoming blessing to all.

Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar, episcopal leader of the New England Conference of The United Methodist Church, will read Scripture and preach.

Guest clergy and lay leaders of the various congregations will be invited to bring greetings or a blessing to the hosting congregation as it celebrates the re-opening of its newly renovated facilities. After the service, guests are invited to an open house featuring refreshments and tours of the newly renovated building.
