We love to feed people, and we do it so well, that Greenwood and SUMC volunteers have again been invited to whip up their veggie chopping and other food preparation skills at Pine Street Inn’s central kitchen in Boston.
As usual, we hope that each of the three dates offered will bring 6-8 volunteers from each Church together for some real memorable experiences. In the past, SUMC has always provided 8+ individuals for these Saturday morning get-togethers. Guess this sort of kitchen camaraderie really works or so say all the folks who have taken up the chopping challenge before.
The dates are May 23rd, July 18th and Sept. 5th. Yes, Sept. 5th occurs during Labor Day weekend but that sort of thing has never stops SUMC’ers from jumping into a fun kitchen situation As usual, we’ll be carpooling to Harrison Avenue leaving SUMC’s parking lot at 8 AM and returning by 1 PM.
