A whole lot of good stuff will be up for auction this Saturday night (6:30 p.m.) at the church, including weekends away, dinner parties, home services and original works of art.
The goal, of course, is to respond strongly to our Bishop’s plea to support his “Imagine No Malaria” campaign. All of the United Methodist churches in our conference are invited to participate, and we’re trying to do that, strongly. The auction gives us a great way to have much fun, earn big, and respond with enthusiasm, without impact on our annual budget.
A last minute donation of 2 tickets for a ride in a four-engine WWII bomber; either a B-17 Flying Fortress or a B-24 Liberator! Because we’ve had such generous response, the list of donations now includes more than 60 good items, including airport rides, and more.
So come and make your choices – and try to not be out-bid. Also, food will be available so you won’t be going hungry. Let’s have a good time!
